Diwali the largest and vibrant festival over in India and other countries. Almost all religions except Christians and Muslims don’t celebrate it. There are many religious myths associated with it. Mainly its considered as victory of light over dark depending on the perception of all people for some its victory of good over bad. It is enlightenment of knowledge(light) over ignorance(bad), freedom over slavery. Lighting of lights in a serial order in front of houses or business place.

The overall business turnover  for Diwali may exceed more then 5000 crores wroth of fire crackers. Its the starting of new business year because people buy gold jewelry, vehicles,sweets and many house hold articles. Many people gift sweets,dry fruits to friends,relatives and business associates. Its the common ritual followed now a days .

our concern is regarding the environmental issues. Due to global warming we have got many seasonal variations i.e., like no rainfall,no cold in winter but sunny as in summer and many more problems. Already our metropolitan cities are surrounded by smog of various chemicals which hinders our breathing and its capacity, many are prone to allergies and lung related problems.

Diwali festival is to promote victory of light over darkness by wearing new clothes,gold jewelry, strengthens relations in family and relatives. Especially people in business by sharing gifts and sweets.  Problem arises at burning of fire crackers. It may be followed as an old custom and its causing a major issue in sound, air pollution. Its an ancient ritual which is followed since many years.

Its a sensitive issue, so it can’t be stopped because in our secular country where there many religions. we shall take precaution i.e we shall buy plants with 10% of money spent on Diwali fire crackers. Much pollution is caused in 2 to 3 days . we have got many plants which are commonly grown but they purify air, if we can promote them. It will be a great help to our mother earth.

The plants are

1) the living room plant “Areca palm ” scientific name: chrysolidocarpus air filter or purifierlutescens

2) the bedroom plant “mother in law’s tongue” scientific name: sansevieria it does not disturb ustrifaciata

3) the specialist plant “money plant ” scientific name: epipremenam aureumit provides money not as cash immediately

the above plants decrease air pollution, co2 levels, other chemicals entering into our house and then into our body by breath. even also harmful fumes like formaldehyde and volatile gases.

Homosapien- we the Humans are the superior race on the earth. We feel that we are on the top in evolution chain. We have adapted all types of adverse condition, which destroys the harmony of the nature.

our day to day activities have changed and biological clock(circadian rhythms) has been reversed by so called posh culture. due to this humans  face many adverse effects both on our  physical & mental health. In-spite of all this happening, there is no regret and we are trying to find another planet to trash it like our mother earth.

Already we have made it as a dumping yard with solid waste, electronic waste,hazardous waste. we have broken the rules of mother earth to prove that we are civilized people on this planet.

Evolved species habits

Unlike animals we have speech, cognition, emotions,then other species existing on this planet but they abide by the nature laws and not with greed. We say we are in harmony with nature and we don’t preach but animals hunt or prey on other animals. when they are hungry only and they do not  hunt for fun.

This type of attitude has brought us on the verge of last day of world. We are the destroyers of our own world by our cognition I.e., our intelligence, our thoughts, technology like using automobiles that run on fossil fuel,refrigerators which emits CFC’s(chloro fluro carbons). wastage of food, water and others resources.  which  will take us to an end.

Humans have tamed wild animals , we feel that we are civilized by cutting down forests, we cultivate them into fields. For foods, medicine and other uses. Initially the change was sustainable but now a days we are going against the nature by using substituents like artificial manure for better yield in less time. it has polluted land, our foods, water, air and even the mothers milk which is considered the purest form. fossil fuels for transport by ignoring renewable energy resources.

Normally parents used to think that the child due to his laziness used to urinate in his bed or clothes.It may be embarrassing for the child & frustration  to parents.  Due to social stigma prevailing the children are emotionally abused by the family i.e  mother,father or siblings. the situation is used to threaten or take advantage of the child. literally they compare the child with their siblings or the child in their neighborhood.

parents should never punish the child for wetting the bed,it may lessen his self image or confidence.

parents should be encouraging the child to have control over the bladder other wise he will develop social stigma.

whenever child doesn’t wet bed he should be praised & said that you can control .keep it up.

never force child to have less water or fluids during evening or bed time & force him to go for urination before bed but give him plenty of fluids but not tea,chocolate,coffee & coke, Pepsi, sprite,thumps  drinks.

don’t em brass  the child  but encourage the child to take responsibility changing or cleaning his own clothes or bed sheets.

even constipation some times causes bed wetting be sure to give plenty of vegetables,fruits, cereal food & plenty of fluids & regular exercise .

We have bad news from research institutes and doctors that we need to keep our smart phone far. when we are at sleep. Because smart phones may cause cancer , add sleep disorders to the list of its harmful effects. According to the researcher using of smartphone, before sleep causes people to take longer time to reach deeper levels of sleep. So there by it is interfering with the body’s ability to repair the damage, during the day time. A team of researchers in US and Europe has carried out a study. they have found that radiation from mobiles delays and reduces sleep. it also causes headache , confusion.

The radiation will activate the brain’s system making people more alert and more focused. it  decreases their ability to fall asleep. this was  said by a lead researcher Prof Bengt Arntez . His study indicate that during laboratory exposure to 884 mhz wireless signals . the  sleep components which are believed to be important for recovery from daily wear and tear. they  are adversely effected.

Emory sleep disorders laboratory, medical director Dr.David Schulman reported that using  smartphone right before sleep. will make you  fall asleep so late. Even the light on your phone screen naturally stimulates your mind and has an alerting effect. The artificial light exposure during dusk suppresses the release of the sleep promoting hormone melatonin. It causes a severe ,regrettably damage to our life. Scientists compared the digital media used by teenagers with smart phone & those using  a conventional mobile. In research it was found that teenagers with smart phone spent almost double the time on the Internet then the teenagers with conventional phone.

They also spent an average eight minutes less time in the deepest “stage 4″ sleep. the radiation can trigger depression, mood swings, ADHD-like symptoms, personality changes. it also impairs concentration and even disturbs  personal , social life.  do not play games or chat  while talking to people. We lose relations. we will be so busy that  there is a chance of less communication.


Smart mobile phone a human beings basic need

Introduction: Our basic need were only food, clothes, shelter but now a days, even a smart phone  is also taken as our 4th needs . Because we cant leave without our mobile for few seconds.

History: Initially it was considered as a communication instrument later became a luxurious object or status symbol. Then it has become a basic need, sorry to say this word but we are so addicted to it that where ever we go we take it there. That is we keep it with us in sleep, in wash room, while riding and even while having food also.

Reason as a basic need & issues: Early in the morning we wake by alarm sound and search for he mobile beside us,near by or under our pillow. We start our day with our smart phone. Then we check our Facebook or whats up,songs or FM. Later when we go to washroom, newspaper in mobile or chatting In mobile.while jogging we have it with it

on head especially on our brain, loss of memory, lose sight, loss of hearing, hair loss & dandruff, skin allergies on head. We place mobile on our shoulder and bend our head to hold it which causes neck and shoulder based on the degree of tilting our head.

Mainly disturbance in sleep which leads to many problems. Like irritation, frustration, moody, no nature calls due to this loss appetite and many more.

Effects on mental body & emotional: Due to chatting in phone , we ignore the beside person , loss relations gradually. Memory loss, improper relationships, due to moody nature, irritation, frustration ,impairment of personal, social, professional relation.

Effects on personal & social relations: If we are with kids, friends , parents , life partner and busy with our mobile.we may lose every one. Which in turn effect everything. If we are in office busy with our official work/ in a meeting then we cant attend our mobile. Later if we does not check the call list and call back it ruins the relationship also.

Disturbances on life cycle: Loss of sleep, bring a change in our mood, We may shout at our spouse or children, due to this our BP increases, no washroom, then no intake of breakfast, our time is lost. We run in a hurry to our office, which may cause accidents and many more as we go on. In case if an accident occurs our savings are lost on our treatment. We will in financial loss, which in turn effects your family also.

Normally males place their mobiles in their pocket upper left near the heart or In the pants on left side which may cause severe damage to our organs.

Conclusion :Do not stop using your mobile, off course majority of people does not do that but minimize the usage of phone . Whenever necessary. Try to keep it far away from your body.

Students come to colleges with a lots of hope and parents to send them for the same reason. That, they will pass out bright and will fetch them a secured future. But the road to that progress may not be as simple as it seems. There may be the existence of unthinking seniors who are lurking out at them to dominate them with their cruel or humiliating behavior termed as ragging. which may be imposed on them long back by their seniors.

Ragging is deep rooted worst culture, which has been used in a wrong manner.Ragging is a bio-psycho-social phenomenon, which makes talented students to die. the process of ragging  starts by abuse.which are of three kinds. Physical,verbal,sexual abuses. Due to this abuses, they give rise to impulses in brain and causes major damage.These types of abuses gives us a different types of changes in brain. due to this, we may have  both positive & negative effects on our behavior.torture of seniors

Actually ragging was used initially as a Ice breaker,team spirit, Brotherhood and so on. but now a days it is a fun game to kill people. this vicious cyclic process is going on in some education institutions. already the new comers are in stress and fear, instead of making them overcome fear. they elevate the fear by insulting them. which increases their anxiety/tension. it leads to confusion and nervousness. by the all above incidences, he or she goes into depression. this trauma continues mentally. it brings a lot of changes in their life. if he gets promoted to next year, he does the same thing. which has happened to him. in case the person is sensitive, he gets suicidal thoughts and he  is provoked to end his life. http://cruelty

Due to Stockholm syndrome-the behavior of ragging prevails in a person. Its deep rooted tradition, still continued in many educational institutions. Due to this trauma, a person becomes nervous, depressed. so he avoids social relations and stays aloof. far away from the people. which may  lead to the death of person. it may emotional disturb all the family members. Its a cruel act occurring in educational institutes. Please mark an end to it.

We are what we think. After procssing in mind/brain , that will be executed by our own actions I.e., may shouting at others (anger-shown in verbal form, beating other in touch) . The whole process is will be running in brain/mind initially , then executed but we see only one side of excution part and we can not see other part which has taken in our mind. Thats why we say “MIND YOUR WORDS” not use the word brain.
